  • I don’t understand how people can say Kobe is literally the second coming of Jordan, plays just like MJ, same style of play and also had one less championship then Jordan. One more championship and he would’ve tied MJ but people never rank him number 2 under MJ they rank him number 3??? But he plays just like MJ and had 5 rings so how is he not ranked number 2 under MJ?

  • When MJ was on TV in the 90's, that was it! It didn't even matter if you cared about basketball. It didn't matter what state you lived in, Chicago was playing. It didn't matter what else people would usually watch on TV at that time of day, basketball fan or not. Everyone knew when the game was on, and it was all about Jordan. If NASA was going to the moon, it didn't matter; if your favorite show was coming on it didn't matter; if it was sparring night, there wasn't going to be anyone to spar with; if a business had a TV you already new what channel it was on. It was just so freaking polorizing. LeBron is the center of basketball; MJ was the center of the nation.

There clearly IS a wrong choice here, and that would be taking Kobe over LeBron or Jordan. Kobe Bryant was never as good as either of those two men, and saying he was is complete ignorance. Dummies like Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson are the only ones pushing that agenda again. The only ones. And they obviously attract low bottom feeders for their audience who agree.

Center (Kareem Abdul Jabbar) Power forward ( Tim Duncan ) Small forward ( LeBron James ) Point Guard (John Stockton ) and shooting Guard ( Micheal Jordan ). I know some of you are going to let me have it by putting John Stockton ahead of Magic, but Stockton get's disrespected just because he has no titles, all- time leader in steals, and all-time leader in assist. Any way from the 5 guys to choose from as goat in my mind is Micheal Jordan six time finals MVP, never let a series go 7 games, and finally never lost in the N.B.A. finals.

The answer was great about all three being great and he does understand why people would put Lebron on the conversation yet the main thing is clear here. A two time league MVP said MJ is the GOAT! PS Nash played in this common era against Lebron for years as well and still says that. In other words Lebron causes zero fear in opponents because he has always been on stacked teams where a variety of guys can shine any given game. You can’t really recall a playoff or Finals game where Pippen shined right? How about Rodman? You had guys like Paxson and Kerr being remembered but other than that, all Jordan in the 4th on his way to not 1, not two, not three, not four, not five but six championships basically in a row! You cant say that about Kareem, Wilt, Russell, Magic, Bird, Shaq, Kobe, Wade, Lebron, Iverson, Curry, KD, Tmac, Carter, Kidd, Duncan, Nowitzki, Nique, Isaiah, Dream, Malone, Payton, Barkley, Ewing etc etc etc! Lebron is on Mt Rushmore while MJ is on Mt Everest all by himself on the pinnacle!

Jordan was losing to the Celtics in the first round dropping an impressive 63 at 23 but getting swept. LeBron was 22 playing against the greatest power forward of all time and 2 other hall of famers and one of the greatest couches of all time, but sure he's 2-1 against a legendary team who added Kawhi at the tail end.

      Mega pringlesMega pringles5 ай мурун
    • @Kabir Bariana No footwork? Go watch game 2 against Toronto the Lebronto game he destroyed them with nothing but post up fade away shots you must be new. Shit, You can go watch the last Celtics game and Bucks games to see how consistently dominant Lebron is in the post. And LeBron's shot has been wet since he drained multiple shots in game 7 against the Spurs with Kawhi guarding him ( a game multiple Lebron haters love to forget about and bring up Ray Allen's clutch shot to diminish the Greatest).

  • It’s crazy how much you guys hate LeBron. He’s clearly number 2. Kobe is not even top 5. As the leader of his team Kobe has been to 3 finals and lost one to old ass KG and Paul Pierce. LeBron as a leader? Has been to 9. He had no shot at winning 6 of them lmao just being honest. Warriors greatest offensive team of all time! Spurs got 5 chips under pop. He did choke against Dallas but that’s only one finals. I can honestly say he balled out in all the warriors finals, they were just too damn good. But total body of work stats don’t lie Lebron is 2nd greatest of all time and he will retire with more points assist and rebounds than MJ but I will still have MJ as number 1. MJ and Lebron shot 50 PERCENT from the field there entire careers while averaging over 27 a game. Kobe has a career average of 25 ppg shooting around 42 percent. At times Kobe was painful to watch. Shooting over 5 defenders. Please stop hating. Just be real. I got MJ, Lebron, Kareem, Bird, Magic.

    Lonny RonnyLonny Ronny5 ай мурун
    • jtremaine23 Kobe played 5 more years than MJ as well. When Lebron retires he will be at least 10000 points past both. That Celtics team in 2008 where about the same in 2010. Same style of play, still dominated the East. Bron has no shot at beating them. He was alone in Cleveland with not one soul to help.

    • @Zzzzz Walks Yeah Kobe finished 4th that year in MVP voting and rightfully so. The Lakers only won 45 games. Yes he didn't have much surrounding him, but LeBron's supporting cast may have even been worse and the Cavs won 50 games still. Nash averaged basically 19-11 on 50-40-90 shooting, led the league in true shooting percentage and the Suns still won 54 games with Stoudemire out the entire year. Dirk also had a better case. Mavs won 60 games, he averaged 27-9 on 48-40-90 shooting. I think I still go with Nash though. To do what he did without Stoudemire for the entire season is very underappreciated.
